Democracy...

So Hamas is elected as the leader of the Palestinians - This will really help the mideast peace process. Diplomacy is what needs to happen - but, like I've said before, that only works when both parties are willing to compromise. I personally don't ever expect peace in that area - it goes all the way back to Abraham and his two sons. We will have peace - but only when Jesus Christ returns. We should pray for peace and pray that violence would cease, but with such evil in the world, heaven will never be found on earth. I realize this world isn't my true home - long for heaven, but serve Christ on earth as if you were there. I read once that we should live on earth as though we are citizens from heaven. Since I'm an American, if I went to live in Germany - I would still be an American and my life would be based on that - though my ways would begin to conform to the people I am living around. The difference is that Christ told us not to conform to the land we are living in - Act as an honorable citizen of heaven while you live here on earth.
In Christ, Erin

Take me to your leader...Articles to Make you think!

Earthly
Heavenly

(My favorite paragraph of above article)
**Make the necessary distinction between truth and truth-bearer. We rightly expect people who believe something to act in accordance with that belief. But we are all terribly imperfect, and that guarantees there will be failures. At such times it is important to remember that I am the contradiction, not God. I may have proven myself a hypocrite, but I’ve proven nothing about God.

Once again - Render

Cool Web site
Finally have a design for the CAF video - But now that I have 30 secs I get to watch it render, render, render, and then finish the rest of it. Motivation! I need it! Creativity! I need inspiration! The inspiration that only comes from God. Jesus, I love you.

24 - Spoiler Warning

I love 24 - I love that they give us 4 hours worth to start off but now we only get 1 hour a week - seriously that's like drinking 12 cans of Mountain Dew within a two day period and then going down to one a week. I can't believe they killed off President Palmer - he was hands down my favorite fake president - If we didn't have Bush I'd want him!

Need I say more?

I so totally hit a tumble weed.

I've driven in Western Nebraska. I've seen tumble weeds - the car I was in hit some. I just didn't think a tumble weed bigger than me would be rolling on I-80 this afternoon. Luckily I think it just brushed the side of my car - but of all the random things. Ah, so yesterday, I had to send out a mass email for one of our clients and, yeah, I got it to work, except I put the wrong email in the from part of the email (I forgot countryclub after the name)- so the almost 200 emails that got kicked back went to some random place in California - whoops - I'm such a dork - I sent them an email to apologize....errr
I should go to bed soon - This week has been long. Ooooh, but I got to go to the senior high youth group on Wednesday - It was rock on (stein auf - just a little joke) awesome and crazy cool. There are so many kids and I'm stinkin excited to help out. Yeah, tomorrow my friends from Kearney are coming and we're hanging out - good times. Hope all is well and Have an absolutely wonderful Friday!

Are they done yet?

Goodness gracious - The senators on the judiciary committee act like little kids - It cracks me up. Well I also love the Capt. Obvious questions. At least the guy they're interviewing is able to answer and keep a straight face. God bless him!

Render Render

This JPF video is kinda fun - It's pretty funny. The green screen is looking pretty good and now I'm waiting for... guess what... for it to RENDER. Oh brother - it takes a while.
I'm excited because I get to go to the high school youth group tomorrow night - I think it'll be a good time. Hopefully I don't annoy my two sisters :)
Hope all is well!

Alito

I love how the Dems aren't going to be able to stop Judge Alito. He is an intelligent judge who, yes, as his mother says - doesn't support abortion, but, even though I would like him too, he won't use his personal views to make decisions on cases. He will look at the law and constitution - We need judges who rule on the laws - even if I don't agree with the laws - and not make new laws. The Dems are so mad that Bush is in power that they will complain about anything they don't like - even though their guys (Clinton and Carter) did the same things as Bush has done (even to a further extent as he has) in regards to wire tapping. I'm sorry - but I would like to know if terrorists are trying to plan to blow us up. Yes - diplomacy is good - but it only works when both sides are willing to listen and have their minds made up that each side is going to have to cooperate. Terrorist don't want to cooperate - they want all people who don't follow Allah dead. But the dems want to give non-US citizens rights- they want to give Terrorists rights - Yeah, I'm sure the terrorist have a bill of rights for their prisoners. No, don't torture them - but they said they haven't. But I'm sorry, sleep deprivation is not torture - We aren't chopping their heads off. I don't know how things will play out, but evil will not prevail - it may be a week or thousands of years, but Jesus will win in the end. (Please only comment if you have intelligent things to say - and no name calling - Thanks!)

TGIF

I love Fridays - except I had to get up early (for me) this morning and for some strange reason I scheduled an oil change for my car at 9 a.m. tomorrow - so much for sleeping in. For me sleeping in is 10:30 - 11 - I am so not a morning person. Now I get to capture some more footage and key out the green screen - oh joy. Any one know any tricks to key out the green in Final Cut Pro let me know!

Please Pray

Please visit Rachel Wade - She was struck by lightning in 2003. I knew her in high school - she was/is an awesome girl and I still can't believe what happened. Life is crazy and full of shocks and surprises. All I know is that I'm glad God knows all and knows where things are going.

Texas didn't fumble their lateral (yeah, yeah I know his knee was down)

Woohoo - Go Texas - That was a great game. I've stayed up too late they last two nights. I need to go to be early tonight! I also need to take the little Christmas tree down - if I don't do it soon it's gonna be up until July. Hope all is well and Hook 'em Horns!

One day at a time

One day at a time
I love how my blog reaches no one. OH well - The Penn State game was pretty cool. I was so bummed for the kicker the first....and second time he missed - but third times the charm. Good job PennState for beating FSU - i've never like Florida teams. I think that just happens when you're a Husker fan. Hope your life is well. God- Please be with the families who lost their fathers, husbands, brothers, and sons, during the mining accident. I can't even imagine.
On a lighter note - it is near impossible to find an adult Mickey Mouse costume in Omaha - goodness gracious. Have a great day!

A New Year - 2006

Ok - I'm ready to get this year off right. Ready to be productive at work - (Yes, I'm writing this at work, but I'm waiting for Final Cut to render). I seriously think most of my time is spent rendering. This was a good Christmas - all my family got together and my Grandpa's are doing better. God is good - I have a chair not in my living room - we have a couch but it had cat fur all over it and I still can't sit on it even though I've vacuumed and Febreezed it multiple times. I actually have some things decorating our living room and kitchen. It needs to look more like a home and less like a dorm room/dorm lounge. (Render, Render, Render). Also this break was great because my Huskers won - Woohoo! Nothing better than winning a bowl game. I picked USC to win the championship on the bowl game thing on ESPN, but I have no shot of winning anymore so I think I root for Texas. Poor Texas Tech didn't win - that was sad - Wreck 'em Tech - I've been brainwashed by my cousin - not really - to root for Tech (only when they're not playing Nebraska). Also did you see that Herbie Husker won the Capitol One mascot challenge? Go Herbie :) Restore the order - I'll say. (I need to get one of those t-shirts.) I'm not sure what else other than, it was really foggy today and I finished reading Bourne Supremacy last night - good book - didn't enjoy some of the language though. I need to go back and read some Jane Austen era writings. Now those are the classics. (more rendering all the time) Keying out backgrounds is a real booger. I wished there was a special trick but I think its all about trial and error and making sure the background doesn't show through the person's teeth. Well, that's what I get to do today. I'll see how it goes. Have a great day!
